This looks like a fun night, thought I would share it with all you singles. I know Petrina is a very good entertainer so it sounds like fun! :wave:

Did this when I was single ( many moons ago)
It's lots of fun. Basically, you sit at a table with one person for two minutes or so, a bell rings,you move to the next table, talk to that single for 2 minutes and keep moving on.
At the end of the night, you have met with several other singles and then mingle and get to know more.

Exactly...sometimes its not about the perfect match, but you find someone that you might want to just hang out with as friends.

I know a few people who did it & had a lot of fun, some even found a mate!:coolsmiley:

I think it is a good place to meet people who are there for the same reason you are!

@ Misty.....it is a free registration...you have to sign up before the 19th... per the flyer e-mail at singleandmingleevents@yahoo.com then they will give you some infomation then you need to register to speeddateregistration@yahoo.com

the event is not till Wed, Aug. 22nd

speed date on one side (you need to register for that)
Single and Mingle Mixer on the other side anyone can go
all on the 22nd!

Where I came from this was a very short fad that didn't last very long with the younger bar crowd (21-30). It was just more of a bar game and not taken serious. As a single male and a newbie, I wouldn't even consider it.:wave:
