This is the man who can expose the leftist socialist failure that is named Obama.

Paul Ryan will now have a spotlight on him and Team Obama is not going to relish it.

The only battle will be getting the truth out despite the blocking tactics of the mainstream lamestream media that is virtually an arm of the Democrat Party.

Here's a sample of the man that the dufus known as Biden will attempt to debate.

We'll know soon enough how the lamestream media handles it.

(although I'd wager high on my call on this; history being on my side)

The glossing over Obama's eyes as Paul Ryan spoke: "precious".
I expected in an attempt to discredit Paul Ryan Obama's wanted his first response to be "Who are you again?".

Unfortunately many many people, like Joe Biden George clooney types and the liberal press will continue to play the role of "useful idiots" to Obama's claims. How very very tragic.

it was stated in the news this morning that the next 24 to 72 hours will define who Ryan is....that is after they get a chance to formulate their message on how they want America to see him....which will obviously match the dems need to have him be not the right guy.

What they cannot do for those of us who care is change what he has done to date. Is what he does/proposes the right things) to do? The answer seems to be yes on most counts that matter.

The smear teams will blossom in the next few days.

It's always nice to have an excuse as to why your candidate didn't win. It certainly couldnt have been because the American people didn't buy what he was selling. It always has to be some external, unfair influence doesn't it? :ohdear:

As I remember it, you refused my bet on an Obama win at the watering hole.

You remember incorrectly. I think I just laughed at you.

This is a totally new bet. It's a bet on how the lamestream mainstream press handles Paul Ryan.

I bet when the lamestream mainstream media's vetting of Ryan is over we'll know how many hairs Paul Ryan has in each of his orifices.

We still don't know if Obama actually had a past life, or was beamed down from Farrakhan's mother ship, after 5 years of speculation.

You do know, as sad as this is, as truthful as it is, as SCARY as this is, all you are going to get in reply is some little joke about the watering hole.

I would never joke about the watering hole. Sitting around the tables with a great bunch of guys of all political persuasions jibjabbing about a little bit of politics, our golf games, and the enjoyment of being retired and living in The Villages is a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours every now and then.

Of course you are right about how the press will bring out every little scrap on Paul Ryan.

Nothing wrong with not drinking alcoholic beverages. I believe that there are a couple of the guys in the watering hole group that drink soft drinks but still enjoy the company and conversation.

I had it added in the first reply. My reply was that he is completely right about the press coming up with every scrap they possibly can about Paul Ryan. I expect nothing less.

The conservative groups will do that with Pres. Obama and VP Biden as well. I expect nothing less from them, either.

Whatever is out there to research, they will do it. Cannot say that I know very much about Paul Ryan except that he is big fan of Ayn Rand's philosophy. Never much cared for Rand's cult of selfishness.

You fellows must not have heard about Romney declaring certain things "off limits" for the PAC's when campaigning ???? Hmmm....

AND THEN..OH the hypocrisy...

"Deflecting continued questions about a controversial ad from a Democratic-aligned super PAC, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney insisted Friday that a candidates’ campaign is powerless over third-party ads.

But he took the opposite view in May when he urged Mitt Romney’s campaign to renounce a Republican donor who had considered running ads on the president’s ties to the controversial pastor Jeremiah Wright.

“We do not control third-party ads,” Carney said, adding later, “I do not have any role in third-party groups that produce these ads.”

But Carney held a different view on campaigns’ responsibilities to mediate outside groups when, in May, Republican bundler Joe Ricketts was revealed to have considered investing in ads highlighting then-Sen. Obama’s ties to Rev. Jeremiah Wright, his fiery former pastor.

In a briefing on May 17th, Carney suggested the Romney campaign should denounce the potential ad campaign, drafted by Republican consultant Fred Davis, but never actually implemented.

“And I think there are moments when you have to stand up and say that that's not the right way to go. And I would point to numerous comments that echo that, not just from Democrats and political observers, but by Republicans today,” he said of Davis’ proposal."

Thus despite what you say the "conservative groups" are not going to dig up all they can on Obama. And I was hoping against hope because just found out that the secret service has actually confirmed the story of Obama meeting with Jeremiah Wright..you know when the President offered hiim a bribe to shut up...a sitting President.

Oh well, you wont see that I suppose.....OH THE HYPOCRISY !

I've looked and looked but I just can't find in history where a Member of the House was ever elected VP. Also they say something about Ohio....... now what was that?

What's pathetic is leftist posters that post over and over again and never say anything remotely important or interesting, ever.

You know what I mean?

I've been busy all day today with friends and company and missed a lot of what's happening on this forum today.

Buggy's right that not all of the boys are tippers of adult beverages and instead nurse a soda or ice tea all night as we solve the world's problems, and grouch about our golf games and people watch.

Buggy's agreed about the colonoscopy that the lamestream mainstream media will give Paul Ryan, because Buggy's leftist, but he's not always dishonest. It's a rare thing for a leftist and he should be commended on that.

I say "not always" because he will often say some outrageous thing even he doesn't totally believe just to knock you back on your heels. He finds this amusing. (sometimes, so do I)

If he wanted to remain honest, he'd also admit that this same lamesteam mainstream media hasn't vetted Obama after these 4 to 5 long years in any manner, any way consistent to the way Republicans seeking these 2 top offices have been. I'm sure he'd rather just ignore that question, which would be fine with me, as long as he was ordering another round as he was ignoring me.

You mean the mainstream media hasn't latched onto the crazy, conspiracy theories? They are a bit more serious than the media arm of the Republican Party- Fox Noise. :icon_wink:
