It all sounds very positive to me actually, and further gets my vote for Romney !

I do not indulge party folks who vote only one way and I do get excited if someone is to stop the spending and take a good hard look at entitlements, no matter what they are !!

Ryan's budget proposals have included big changes to Medicare - including gradually replacing the program with a voucher program for private health care, and gradually raising the retirement age. That could scare older Americans, a crucial voting bloc.

I don't see anything troublesome of any significance or consequence.

To cut spending there will have to be cuts no matter what line item you want to pick.

For example in the case of medicare if there is truly a fraudulent practice discovered that pays out billions of dollars per year....I am sure no matter if you are an R or D that fraud should be eliminated. Right....anybody disagree to eliminate the fraudulent payments?

And when the fraudulent practice is eliminated those billions can now be CUT from the medicare budget.

I don't care who does it or what they call it it is a cut in funding or reduction or what ever.

The real problem is the Harry Reids and Obama's of the world do not want to upset those who are getting the fraudulent payments therefore.....business as usual...nothing gets done.

So a guy like Ryan who will do what is right fiscally....yup he is going to make a bunch of people unhappy.....the politicians who don't want to "change" anything, the ones getting the fraud money and those who support the practices because the party said so.

The out of control spending has to be stopped and the money CUT from the budget....once we get a budget that is......

Nice thing about accounting you can't politicize the results. Put the numbers in and turn the crank. If spending exceeds revenues do something about it..

Methinks Paul Ryan has liberals on the run because unlike Obama he shoots real arrows that reach their mark. And the best thing about all of this is that Obama has had so many face to face with Ryan and come up on the shortend every time. I suspect it would not be beneath him to have his synchophants start spinning untruths about Ryan as they have with Romney and God knows how many other opponents. You know how I see this, and I have no idea how it ends up (although we are lucky in that we do have some on here who profess to know)...I see this as ...

Two serious men who see the problems facing the country and as uncomfortable as the solutions might be, they will be honest to the american people...

VS

Two men who will do whatever it takes to get back into power, and will shy away from anything that might not get a vote.

I dont know if Romney/Ryan can get the subject on the issues but if and when they do, the fight would be over.
