we are now in contract with our house where we live now. Closing should be in about a month or so,fingers crossed. Our plan is to have a mover take our stuff , which is 5 dressers and two beds ,no mattress, a couple of weeks before we drive down to TVs. We want to rent a home for a month, so we can look around. We are planning to buy a spec home. I think we can find a new home in a month or less. Can we have the mover bring our stuff to a storage place and have it stored without us being there? Has anyone else done this? Does anyone have any people they can recomend. Any Ideas on this?
Over the last months on this site, people have answered many of the questions I have asked. It has been very helpful to me. thanks

Extra Space Storage is a nice facility on 466. Terri and her husband Randall run the operation and she is very knowledgable and a pleasure to deal with. A/C units is also important if your things will be here while it is still hot, which last till about the end of October.
They advertise on TOTV, give them a call.

The simple answer to your question is Yes. My mom moved here in October one year and her old home closed in July of that year, so her stuff was in storage in FL for over three months while she lived with us in CA.
