This has probably been posted before, but it deserves a little more press. Wife and I just had a Sunday morning breakfast after church at Athens, on the Spanish Springs Square. Wow, what a breakfast! 2 eggs, home fries or grits, toast and coffee. Both meals for under $8.00. A ten dollar bill covered everything, including the tip. You just can't beat the price, and the quality of service. Friendly wait staff even burnt my rye toast like I asked them to do. They are on our agenda weekly. We love it.:mademyday:

Athens has been our favorite for about 6 months now. Even in this summer heat it is pleasant setting out on the patio in deep shade and having breakfast. The food is plentiful, good, and service is very good. We like to sit along the railing and give a few crumbs of bread to the birds. It's also a good spot to people watch. Their $3.99 weekday breakfast is almost too good to be true.

I assume there is a inside seating area also?

If you smell burnt toast, I am there.

There is but haven't used it yet since the patio hasn't been uncomfortable at all. I'm sure I'll be using the inside tables when it gets too cold to sit outside.

Good assumption, yes.
