Link below is the counter arguement in the same publication. I would suggest in putting links up that we all check on the author and what point the publication is trying to make....if it is not IN CONTEXT, none of it makes sense.

President Obama: The Biggest Government Spender In World History - Forbes (http://www.forbes.com/sites/peterferrara/2012/06/14/president-obama-the-biggest-government-spender-in-world-history/)

I might add that in the first link they comparing point is the Obama budget which we all know has not been in effect for three years !

i offer the following link for evaluation:

FactCheck.org : Obama’s Spending: ‘Inferno’ or Not? (http://www.factcheck.org/2012/06/obamas-spending-inferno-or-not/)

it provides much more extensive and effective analysis than does the forbes article.

a much more fair and balanced analysis - although that is not always a popular consideration around here! ;)

You may want to report me to the adminstrator but I have this need to ask you a question.

You are a smart man obviously. I cannot understand anyone simply posting links without validating the contents. If you wish to speak to that, find...if not, that is fine also.

I never post a link without knowing the other side of the story..it saves a lot of embarassment and I need all the help I can get on that front.

For me, there is no compelling reason to read a piece that is obviously structured to be either left or right. THAT, to me is the problem with this internet thingie....you can find someone who wrote something that will make whatever point you want to make....anyway, ignore me if you want...just curious !

i just think that taltarzac725 is tossing out a topic for discussion. i don't see it as much more than that - it might not even be that it is a position that taltarzac supports - as evidenced that tal enjoyed/appreciated/inderstood my counter link.

and i find that reading the tale behind a link - whether the tail wasgs to the left or the right - gives me a better understand of where the author/party/talking point. i just wish that links that are posted were more current and deling with the problems in front of us rather than behind us. what's done is done and we have to make things better for the future.

just my humble opinion that you really didn't ask for. ;)

Thanks...great post and I hope he understands I was not being confrontational, but I agree with you. Why people do not want to talk about issues is just beyond me. There must be forums somewhere to engage in the political personnel sniping where facts are secondary and you just get your kicks from slinging mud.

On here I suppose some do not care....I try to be careful because I do not want an astute person such as you to catch me in a lie :)

Dont need to ask for your opinion...always welcome !
