Just thought I would let people know that we have had a chance to experience Jamie's follow up. One of the two Sylvester palms that he planted was experiencing stress from the beginning despite at least a month or more of watering. When we left at the end of May, we were in touch with Jamie and he said that they would keep an eye on the tree to see how it was doing as he always likes to give a tree a chance if there is any growth there.

Well last week, one of his workers went by and the tree needed to be trimmed as there were dead fronds at the bottom and at the top. The ones at the top were always in a dubious state, but not quite dead.

Apparently the tree is now producing green fronds from the center and my neighbour just emailed me to tell me how great the whole front looks since the tree has been trimmed. So I am really please that even when we are not down there, I was able to get Jamie to check and trim out the dead fronds so that the tree doesn't need replacing. I was told by Sunny in the office, that if the tree needed replacing, even after the warranty period of a year, Jamie would stand behind it as we have been watching it since it was first planted in March.

Now that is good customer service as far as I am concerned.

Glad to hear everything is working out for you. We also had a windmill palm that was showing stress..not dead but did not look good. Jamie just replaced it no questions asked. Got to give him credit :BigApplause:
