Call Blocking

We've been getting calls, daily, sometimes 2 or 3 per day from a "charity" . Number had been put on my blocked list. Everything was fine and dandy, no calls. Then yesterday, another call from that same organization. Took a look at the number, it was different from the first one, though the area code was still the same...from the DC area. Put that number on the blocked list. Ah, peace once again until this morning....another call from the same organization and a third number. I don't answer the calls, my phone and tv, show where the number is from and from whom.
Just a heads up for those who might put a number on blocking....there may be more than one number associated with the group, organization or individual you think you are blocking.

I get marketing calls all the time on my cell phone and notice the same thing - multiple inbound numbers from the same organization. Sheesh!!

I stash the numbers under a contact name Do Not Answer A - B - C, etc. - 5 numbers per contact. I set up a Silent ring tone for these contacts. If subsequent calls come in from the number(s), I don't hear it and I don't get docked minutes for the call. It's rare that any of them leave a message.

That is exactly what I do Bill. My wife was getting calls 5-10 times per day from an alarm company and was so frustrated until someone on TOTV told us what they did. We laugh now when we see how many "Missed Calls" we have :)
