Attention Everyone:
A website has just been designed by a friend who lives in TV to help us get around in our golf carts. It is fabulous! Just go to: cartingthevillages.com and check it out. You will be amazed at the detailed information for all the golf cart lanes and tunnels, etc.

Great website. My children will love this. They are in their 30s and set out from our Bonnybrook home to MVP. Ended up at Lake Sumter!!!

Thanks to Paul and Arleen for putting this together and MikeandNancy for sharing! I will be new to TV this winter and greatly appreciate this! The paths were just a tad confusing when I was there for my LSV! This should (hopefully) help a lot!!!

Great information! Thanks for posting.
Is there a GPS that keeps current with the new streets in TV? I have a TomTom and the last I checked they still didn't have my street in The Village of Charlotte.
Or, bettter yet, is there an app for an Android phone?

Wonder if he can put a "warning/alert" to let drivers know they have to go through the Sweetbay parking lot to continue north, etc.

Thanks so much! Your friend even included the shortcuts! I get lost every time I try to use the shortcut to Saddlebrook. Maybe I won't get lost next time! Thank You! :clap2::clap2:

Personally I have always thought that TV golf paths/trails should have more signs especially coming into a tunnel or out of a tunnel. Many times a simple sign with an arrow pointing toward the next landmark, village or golf course would be helpful. Bottom line, you learn by driving the paths/trails. Nice website----well done but won't take the place of actually driving experience.

its quite easy, just use google maps on your android and apply the bicycling layer and it maps the cart trails.

Good point, looney! That option's been available for a number of months. memason was the one who put all that together, I believe.

The bicycle layer on Google Maps is good for a quick reference on the go but it doesn't have many of the shortcuts shown on the website.

The Google bicycle layer was added to the phone a long time ago. The web site has some very good points.
Now I have both.
