If you mean Ardens then yes I have used them for watch repairs and appraisals. No problems with them and staff very nice.

Very good. I had some major work done on a ring and the people were very helpful and professional. I have no doubt I could have got it done cheaper somewhere else, but trust enters into it.

Had some watch batteries replaced and links taken out same day. Kinda pricey but needed it done fast and paid for that service. They did a good job with the watch. If you're looking to have work doen on something they will scan/photo your item which you'll get along with your claim sheet to make sure there is no mistakes :)
They are a family owned business and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Not into buying expensive jewelry but if you're looking to buy things they do have a very nice collection. Was drooling over some of the sapphire sets.

We have purchased many items there and find the staff very helpfull. As for the prices I find them competitive with other major jewelry stores including Jarrods. Wife is pleased with the purchases.

My husband actually bought my engagement ring at Ardens. It happened during our second visit to the villages :) The staff was wonderful and were very excited for us. We actually bought one of their designs and when we asked if we paid cash, if they could discount it, they did give us a substantial discount.....That was about 2 years ago. Since then we got married and bought a home in The Villages last fall. Life is good!!!!!

Speaking of jewelry stores and watch repairs we have been to the jewelry store by the Verizon shopping center on 441/27. They replaced our watch batteries without charging us which was very nice. If I needed jewelry I would definately go to them.

I also stopped by the jewelry store on 441/27 by the Verizon store and Starbucks. Had 4 watches which needed batteries. I had taken them to another store which wanted $29.99 per watch battery. They changed my batteries for free. Not as high end as Arden but that is obviously where I would go if I was looking to buy a piece of jewelry or have one repaired.

My daughter bought an expensive watch from them and it stopped working. They kept replacing the battery which did not fix the problem. They told her to send it to the maker (Tissot) and they would reimburse her the shipping, they never did. Tissot sent it back to her and it still didn't work. She called the owner of Arden's and asked for her money back or a new watch, he refused. He said he would not do that on a 2 year old watch (it was not 2 years old when she started having problems. He said she could buy another watch from them and he would give her 50% off. Obviously, she won't buy another watch from them. He told her not to call back. I will not do business with them, nor will I recommend them to anyone.

I had a lackluster experience with a manager of Arden's when looking for a repair on a rather complicated piece of jewelry. When I took the same piece to Gold 'n Art, the store next to Verizon on 441, they bent over backwards to help me. They also have a store in Mt. Dora.

I used Arden's to replace a cracked star sapphire in my ring. We initially had a few issues, yet they stood behind the product and I am very pleased with their results and customer satisfaction attitude.

Tried to do business with Arden's (it's a long story) but wasn't impressed....so went over to Art and Gold on 441. Have been there several times and they are quite accommodating AND their prices are a bit less than Arden's when comparison shopping.
