I see the bleacher type seating at the Cabin/square. Will there be no chairs to sit on? Can't imagine seniors liking the bleacher type seating. Looks uncomfortable and a little dangerous getting up and in them. JMHO.

only if you take the steps two at a time....LOL...its too hard to tell how much room there will be from the video, but i am thinking there are people who just come to sit and watch will be happy with the seating

I will have to bring my own chair. I need the back support that a chair provides because of two previous back surgeries. I can't imagine I'll be the only one. The other thing is climbing the steps. I have a bad knee. This should be interesting.

Since TV is a retirement community catering to an older crowd, my guess (and only a guess) is that provisions have been made to accomodate people who can't navigate the bleacher type seating etc. Probably room for chairs.

It's an interesting choice by the Developer to install bleacher type seating. I realize Town Squares are open to everyone. But perhaps the use of bleacher seating reflects the fact that the new build south of 466A seems to be attracting younger folks.

I bet they will provide plenty of chairs with the same system used at LSL and SS -- The bleachers will provide additional seating to end the nights when you can't find a chair because they have all been "reserved"!!!

This will also provide the perfect venue for the huge gatherings TV hosts for politicians and so forth.

Another bonus -- the bleachers have shade -- at a premium in LSL and SS.

Now they will put blankets down ahead of time to save seats !!!!

I guess this almost resolves the reserved seat problem. I can see the bottom row or two reseved. The rest of us billy goats will have to climb. :jester:

It would be nice to have railings for those who need to go higher. Also safer.

I agree, I see way too many fractured hips in my line of work and just don't see the bleacher setup as smart, JMHO.

That's how many people feel about the pavers at SS town square. When older people are dancing, they really don't want to trip and fall. Never will understand the reasoning on using pavers on a dance floor.

I'll just wait an see with the bleachers.
