Anyone get a fed ex that didn't belong to them tonight??? I got a gal's four houses down from me and took it too her. However mine was delivered but to whom I have no idea. Drove around to see if it was sitting outside someone's house but no luck.

Please PM if you got a walmart box via fed ex that wasn't yours. Might be mine :(

Hope this isn't there normal operation around here.

I'm so sorry this has happened. Generally things go well with deliveries. Have you notified FEDEX? Might want to do that, as well as notifying Walmart that your delivery has gone missing. Is there the possibility that Walmart incorrectly labeled the package?

Hope things are resolved quickly.

I've already done both, just hoping someone got it and I can get it back :( I told the fed ex gal at least they'll have one less complaint because I redelivered a package for them
:( I really hope this isnt normal because we're actually getting a couple more fed ex deliveries next week....well now I truelly hope we do :(

Also see if you can catch the driver tomorrow and ask. Hopefully they'd remember the house where it was left if it's only been one day.

Go to the tracking number on the Fedex site and see if it indicates 'Fedex Smartpost'. If so, then it is in your mail box, or a key to a locker will be in your mailbox. Many items I purchase on Amazon now come this way. Fedex does the routing and the Post Office does the delivery.

You're right, UPS delivers only to your home. Maybe I read the question wrong, I thought the OP said it was delivered by Fedex.

I recently received something in the big mailbox that started out with UPS so it looks like both of them are doing this.

FedEx does to the door delivery as well as Smartpost (post office final destination).

We do a lot of on line shopping.....a lot.....and in 8 years never a missed heart beat (or package)....by USPS...UPS...FedEx...DSL....et al.

Nope it was a Fed EX. Not smartpost. Currently marked Left at door, no signature required. THe initial thought is he scanned my package, grabbed the one for down the street and put that in front of the door. We saw him ring the doorbell but he was gone in a flash. I was hoping if he discovered the package on the truck he would bring it back but no such luck. Dispatch is suppose to call this morning because they show it delivered as well and I told the main operator about getting the neighbors down the streets order ...again where it is no one knows at present...hoping it still shows up. :(

One would think whoever received it would notice the address was not theirs and either call Fedex or you or take it to you as you did for your neighbor. If it were anywhere else but TV, I'd expect less but not there.

It has resurfaced :) Lady down the street brought it today about lunchtime. She opened it before she realized it wasn't hers. Oh well, at least I got it back today. Fed Ex driver is on the hook for misdelivering two packages but at least I got it back. Let fed ex know it was here. I'm hoping the next package gets here okay. Haven't had problems with UPS but now I have to worry about anything coming back Fed Ex. :(

Yes both UPS and FedEx ship numerous packages through the USPS. USPS calls it the last mile program. Most of the time you will have two labels on it. So if your expecting a package you should check your door and the parcel lockers at your mail station.

That's great news, as it should be.
My experience with shippers over many decades of sending and receiving is that UPS was the worst on misdelivering and I don't recall a problem with Fedex. Of course, things are handled differently there in TV. It's always best to get the tracking number when an item is shipped to you and follow it on the internet so you know when to expect it and if it doesn't happen on time you can jump to action. All's well that ends well.

I am glad your package finally showed up -- it is stressful when you are expecting something, and it does not show up.

My experience with Fed Ex is shipping envelopes and packages at my job, so most packages are going to business addresses, but 99% of the time, Fed Ex comes through. As another poster suggested, try to get the Fed Ex tracking number and you can track the envelope/package from the time it picked up at the sender's address to the time it is delivered to your door.

So glad you finally received it! And I would no longer worry about FedEx. That most likely will not happen again!! I am sure the driver is more careful after the mix-up!

Or, the driver's been replaced after 2 mixups on the same street!
