From memory, there is the Villages Yamaha, they are at LSL across from Too Jays, at Spanish Springs by Winn Dixie and at Colony Shopping Center. Also at Spanish Springs is a dealer in the middle of the same shopping center north of Belks, can't remember the brand, I think it's EZGO.

There is an EZGO dealer on Route 44 south end of Buena Vista by Speckled Butterbean Restaurant. They also have another store on CR 101 behind Lang Eye Building in the Southern Trace area. You will also find the fancy Street Rods Cart store is next to the that store on the corner.

The cheaper version of the retro carts is called Yesteryear and are sold by the Villages Yamaha store. There is also an EZGO store next to Best Buy and Bed Bath & Beyond on Hwy 27, and I believe they sell Star Carts as well.

A little north of TV on Hwy 27 before Marion Market on the right is Grand Ma & Grand Pa, he refurbishes year old Club Cars so they look like new, but you save a couple thousand. The new Club Car dealer is also on Hwy 27 near the intersection of CR 466. I'm sure I've left out some, expecially the used dealers but I didn't visit any of them.

tksI've been on this board for a few years and I have never seen anyone indicate that they have created a list of golf cart dealers. Google plus the Daily Sun (when you get here) is your best bet to make your own list.

My wife and I chose a '12 Yamaha gas GC from TV Golf Cars at LSL. We checked out Carts & Clubs in Ocala and they had a really nice product but were way more expensive that TVGC. There is a ParCar dealership on 441 in Lady Lake near the Cottage Diner but they only carry electric and we wanted gas. The salesman at ParCar said that Yamaha makes the best GC around. We have an electric Club Car at the rental and I like it except for the really stiff suspension. If we end up buying a second GC I might consider an electric. I've heard good things about Grandpa's & Grandma's but didn't go to the store. There is also a place called Discount Golf Cars who also refurbishes Club Cars and I think it's on 466 just east of Morse.

We bought two from Grandpa & Grandmas...all accessories included, reasonable prices, excellent customer service, and they live in TV.

And of course there is the old fashioned way...Yellow pages..even on the Internet.

The reason Carts and Clubs cost a bit more is because they offer more. Much tighter rain seal, stronger club enclosure, etc. Go take a look ... they have a TV Yamaha there so you can compare them side by side. When you see it, feel it, shake it, and then hear it .......... There is a sound reduction/insulation package that they put on that is not even offered at TV Carts. Just saying .....

This thread is a little dated. Any recent experience with purchasing a golf cart? We are I the market for a new or fairly new reconditioned one. Who are the most reputable dealers?
