Hood fans for kitchen

Does anyone have a builtin stove with a large hooded fan above?

Does one have a choice to have it put in during the building process?

Your microwave goes above your range or cooktop and is vented, so no range hoods. I would assume you could reconfigure aftermarket, but to go to closing you must take the micro. I did not ask otherwise, so put it on your list if no one else can tell you and ask at the design meeting. Perhaps your agent can get the answer for you as well.

Yes, I felt the kitchen was poorly planned with the dishwasher separated from cabinets so asked if I could move the sink and dishwasher to the wall with the cabinets and the stove to the island with a roof hood. Ixnay.
