This Saturday reminded me of last Saturday where we had a "dine around" with 3 other couples. The food and service were outstanding. The manager, I believe Will came over to check a couple of times to seem if everything was okay. Our server, I am sorry I forgot her name went way and above expectations and treated us great. Great job I will definitely be back. The ribs!!!!

:smiley: Agree the Ribs are great! Only once we had relatively poor service. Been there a number of times and food is very consistent.

Been by Texas stockyard a few time's recently around 5:30. Not many cars in the lot and Oakwood is packed. Has anyone eaten there lately? (Texas)

Oakwood is my place when I get a BBQ Rib appetite. The service has always been great. It is our first choice/recommendation to out of area guests.

We recently ate at Texas Stockyard, and although they are new the ribs are to die for. They smoke them a very very long time and you truly taste the smoke flavor all the way through the ribs. It's too bad these two BBQ places have decided to be right next to each other.
