Based on my daily morning "dead bug count" on my front porch, the love bugs are essentially gone. :MOJE_whot:

I'm posting this for the benefit of those who are not in TV at this time. I see so many "oh my god, the love bugs" posts, this is the flip side.

By the way, I don't actually count them. I just blow away the bast***s with my leaf blower.

They flew over to my yard I believe..they are still swarming out my way...Is it just me or did they decide to stay longer this time?

The swarms of them that have been guarding the sliding doors in our lanai are gone this morning with no more illegal entry through the door's nooks & cranies!

If you want to see if there are any love bugs remaining in TV just run your gas grill or smoker...the love bugs will come from all over TV for the exhaust...they love exhaust.

And they hang around tunnels, waiting to descend on people who come to a full stop.....

I'll be back in 3 weeks, hope their gone by then. I've heard they serve no purpose except to agravate humans.

They hang around tunnels because exhaust fumes hang around tunnels ;)

They are alive and well in Hadley and Colony Plaza. Wish they would go away.

Had to go over to the RV storage facility today (off Rolling Acres).

Trust me they are not gone, I thought the motorhome had changed colors.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yea. The white trim on my garage doors was like open bar for them. And today in Leesburg they were swarming terrible. But in Tamarind Grove they seem diminished?

Nasty things on Automotive Paint!

I've been seeing single love bugs (non-copulating) as I did at the beginning of the season

All the gas golf carts with heat and fumes are keeping them around longer! :1rotfl:
If they're around your garage door then they're looking for your cart!
