Around 3pm today I was southbound on St. Charles approaching the intersection of Tamarind Grove Blvd. I was slowing to make a turn and a white van blew right across St. Charles going at least 40mph, it had never stopped or even slowed down for the stop sign. Had I not been making that turn but instead going straight he would of got me in the side. Northbound on St. Charles on the opposite side of the road was a black EZGO cart in their cart lane, as the van zipped in front of me I laid on the horn which I think got the EZGO driver's attention. I just knew he would going to get hit, fortunately he slammed on his brakes and the van couldn't of missed him by more than 2 or 3 feet still going 40+mph. The look on his face was as if he just saw his life flash before him.
At that same intersection 15 months ago a lawn truck pulling a trailer did the exact same thing, blew through the intersection but that time he got the golf cart and killed the driver. I made my way back around to look for the white van with a very unusual raised high top. After circling the area for a couple of minutes I found the van, it was from Fields Appliance Repair in Orlando and was parked in front of a house on Odessa Circle. The driver had already gone inside, so rather than getting into a conflict, when I arrived home I called the company and reported in detail what the driver did, and that they were lucky that two people weren't killed today by one of their drivers.
