Has anyone had occasion to replace their over the range microwave? I am afraid that repairing ours would approach the cost of a replacement. It has been a long, long time since we've been without one and have been spoiled beyond description. Any suggestions or avoidances would be appreciated. Thanks :-)

I bought a Whirlpool at Lowe's and they installed it. Perfect.

Bought ours at Home Depot. Installed it ourselves, but they took the old one away. I was worried I could not find a bisque colored one to match the rest of the appliances, but no problem.

It could be just a blown fuse. I had a large countertop micro and called Sears to come fix. Everyone said I would be better off throwing it out and getting a new one. I ignored them and call Sears. Sears tech replaced a fuse for $4 and no service charge. He showed me how to take the cover off and where the fuse was and that I could get a pack of fuses for microwaves at Home Depot. A few years later the same micro stopped working. Got some fuses and presto it worked again and was still working when I donated it. Just a thought and it may say you some cash.

A neighbor has a Bisque one for sale. They are snowbirds so hardley used.
I think he wants a $125.00 for it.
