We had a birdcage/lanai "bump-out" done. Just finished and the drain guy is out of town so that part won't be finished until the 18th. He does NOT jack up the lanai frame, he cuts a hole about 5" X 1" wherever there is a low spot and inserts a plug with small drain holes in it. The plugs are removable so you can hose out the lanai easily. CVS did the lanai and the drain guy is a sub to them. I will get his name and number and I will try to remember to post it here. Or, you can PM me about that time to jog my memory, or to reply direct to you with the info.

I answered a question about drainage and what I did to solve it quite a while ago. I'm not a company and don't want to be. All you have to do, is loosen the fasteners holding the bottom frame to the concrete and place a spacer under it and then re-tighten the fasteners. I used a section of wire tie for a spacer, but if you took a tupperware lid and cut some strips about 1/4" by 1" long it would work good. Any spacer about 1/16 thick will do the job as long as it doesn't rust. Use a screwdriver to pry up the bottom frame to get the spacer in. Hope this helps.

We have our Designer meeting on 10/29 and are excited to be building a Designer Home in Fernandina, on Allaire Loop....wooo hooo!
We are wanting to find a company who can build either a water wall or rock fountain in our extended lanai, does anyone know of a contractor or company who does this?
We are both working full time still so not a lot of time to research; any help would be appreciated; can't wait to be a TV resident!

This previous thread discusses that issue.
