CYV / Cabana Homes VS Cottages Price

I'm wondering why new CYV's price higher than Cottage Homes? I've compared square footage, two car garages, and lot sizes, and the CYV's seem to be much more expensive when you compare side by side. I've seen two car garage Cottage Homes on a 5K lot in the 160K range, compared to a CYV, with a two car on a 5K lot in the 230K range. A CYV on a 3500 square foot lot with a one car plus golf cart still priced higher than the Cottage with a two car. Can anyone shed light on this? Thanks :ho:

The 230K house, is not what they cost near base price, the cottages are on at a minimum of a 60x90 lot, I think the CYV maybe smaller lots but not certain.

The question is if they were the same which do you prefer, if it's the CYV you need to get to current base price and work from there.

Lastly take the sq footage and divide by cost sometimes that is very revealing.
