Multi-modal and Villa Road Closures

Beginning on Monday, October 15, 2012, some multi-modal trails and villa roads will be closed for asphalt rejuvenation*. Each day a color coded section of multi-modal trail and one (1) villa will be scheduled for this maintenance. Please make sure your sprinkler systems do not run prior to, during, or immediately after the rejuvenation is applied.

At approximately 12:00 noon each day, the VILLA area scheduled for that day will be cleaned and treated. It is scheduled to be completed by 5:00 PM.

At approximately 5:00 PM each day, the multi-modal TRAIL area scheduled for that day will be cleaned. At 10:00 PM, the trails will be CLOSED for the rejuvenator treatment. The trails are scheduled to re-open at 6:00 AM the following day.

*Biorestor Asphalt Rejuvenator will be applied to multi-modal trails north of CR 466 and some villa roads south of CR 466. It is made of 100% agricultural oils. A distinct citrus odor is present but is non-toxic, dissipating in a few days depending upon weather. It is recommended to keep pets off treated surfaces for at least 24 hours.

I guess it's got to get done, but I found that citrus smell unpleasant for weeks afterward. Maybe it will be better with cooler weather.
