Just in case any of you are in the area, I just received this email from the VCDD.
Dear Utility Customer:
Precautionary Boil Water Notice
To residents of District #2 with the following addresses 1301 - 1312 Catalani Lane.
A Precautionary Boil Water Notice has been issued in the Little Sumter Service Area Utility(LSSA) due to a 6� water main break for the above referenced addresses.
Therefore as a precaution, we advise that all water used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, cooking, and washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. For all other household uses the water is acceptable.
This Precautionary Boil Water Notice will remain in effect until the problem has been corrected and a bacteriological test shows that the water is safe.
If you have any questions, you may contact the Water Plant Operator at 352-753-1756 or Utility Customer Service 352-750-0000, Mon. through Fri. 8:00 am to 5:00 pm .
