Urgently need a new family doctor who is willing to go the extra mile in diagnosis. Female only please. I have a difficult time understanding some accents, so it is essential that clear English is spoken by both the doctor and her staff. Any suggestions? Thanks

Go see Dr. Yeshia Butt at Premire Medical Associates in LSL.
Her number is 352-259-2159.
She does have an accent BUT you can understand her with no problem.

I recommend Dr Butt also. She is in The Villages only one day a week......very caring.

My husband and I love Dr Abrantes. She is Philopino I think but we don't have any trouble understanding her. My husband had a BP spike and she has run a number of tests on him. We are now referred to a heart dr as a result of the testing. She is at Mulberry and at Laurel Manor on Wednesdays. She is in the ICE group.

A guy who plays softball with my husband recommended Dr Abrantes. He told us that his doctor from the Va clinic in The Villages goes to her. That's good enough for us!

My concern with Dr. Butt is that she is listed as board certified eligble, not board certified. Do you know why she isn't certified?
