Its not legal advice really just probably whom to contact and the like. This is coming from someone with a MA (Librarianship--U of Denver, 84) and JD (U of MN, 1989) who did a little work in law librarianship and a lot of work for better access for survivors/victims to information.

Crimes against Seniors actually made a situation I took to them worse..... Long painful story but I am in the process of filing a complaint about them to The Attorney General's office who were shocked how they treated me.

I haven't heard of any negatives. Can you tell us about it?

Not sure from your post what crime was committed against you so really hard to respond. I do know from a dispute with a contractor I used to have some work done which I had given money to do a job but they didn't finish the job. I went to seniors vrs crime and was told that all they do was to make a phone call to the contractor and try to get them to perform the work. When I told them I had a lawyer involved, I was told they could do nothing: they wouldn't even make a phone call..What really surprised me was when we won the case in small claims court, seniors vrs crime wouldn't even put the name of the contractor on their list of "people who have had claims filed against them...So much for using them as a filter for the bad guys out there...
