After researching The Villages for the past 6 months, I finally had the opportunity to visit last week. Everything I imagined was true. Unfortunately, a recent surgery prevented me from playing golf but I surely wasn't bored and saw everything that I came to see. Now I can't wait for my house to sell here and the day that I can move in.
Thanks to all of you who answered my questions. I got the impression that everyone I spoke with was in the Sales Department. Only ran into one grouch and it was probably someone who does not live there.

I'm glad you had a good trip, mgjim. When we did our visit, my husband asked someone to tell him something negative. He said everyone was so positive and had nothing but positive things to say about The Villages, he just wanted to hear one negative. The fellow stopped and thought for a minute and said, "There aren't enough hours in a day."

So nice to hear you had a great visit. TV needs to be seen to be believed.

When we came for our LSP three years ago we aked a guy from NY who had rented here for five years that we ran into the first night at LS Landing what he liked about TV. He looked around and waved his hand and replied "What's not to like?". That became our catchphrase for the rest of our visit - everytime we did something we looked at one another and said "What's not to like" Three years later we still have not found the answer to that question.

mgjim, Glad to hear you enjoyed your LSV. Hope you can sell your home quickly and become a frog sooner rather than later.

Always nice to near when someone sees the real TV on their visit! It's a little bit of paradise, no? Hurry back home!
