I am a retired dentist from Virginia, in practice for 32 years before retiring. My wife and I both were seen by Dr. Emrick, and I would reccommend her most highly. She is very professional and caring, and very gentle. I found her just delightful, and it was a great experience, as I have been to a number of others, and not been as impressed. I think you will be pleased.

I highly do NOT recommend her. I went to her 6 months ago for an annual exam and teeth cleaning. I was born with very good teeth (only 1 cavity) which became problematic years ago and now is an implant. The teeth cleaning was substandard and the hygenist did not follow protocol for flossing and my cap came out. I couldn't get an emergency appointment for 5 days. When I returned, Dr. Emrick did not place it correctly, filed the cap down, and charged me an additional $90.00. Two days later it was infected. I returned and she wanted more money to correct her mistake. I insisted another dentist re-exam the tooth because it still didn't feel right. This dentist, from the same practice, cleaned more tooth cement that she did not clean out the second time. My tooth is still very bothersome.
