anyone have experience with this company? Please share I have used Little John's several times this year. They were great. They arrived exactly when they said they would. They moved several large pieces of furniture and did a great job. They were careful with the furniture, didn't hit any walls and didn't scratch any floors. They were courteous, professional, easy to work with and very reasonably priced. They placed the furniture exactly where we asked them to - I would highly recommend them.

I suggest you check out the business with the Better Business Bureau at Check Out a Business or Charity - Central Florida BBB (http://centralflorida.bbb.org/Find-Business-Reviews/) and with Seniors Vs Crime (352-753-7775) to see what kind of performance record they have. I did just look at the BBB site. Little John's Movers is rated "F" by the BBB because, as the site states, they failed to respond to customer complaints. I've never used them so can't say anything about them based on personal experience.

I used them to move 8 items less than 2 miles. They have me am $80 verbal contract. They were 4 hours late....then charged me $300. I refused to pay more than $150 and they accepted it. FIND SOMEONE ELSE OR GET THEIR OFFER IN WRITING.

I used them to move from one TV house to another and was very satisfied with them. They were a pleasure to deal with and very reasonably priced.

We used them to move a dining room set from Ocala to here. They did exactly what we paid them to do, and I thought reasonably. Yes, I would use them again.

I used them once and they were fine. The next time the set a time and no showed, even after confirming the time. Then John and the driver did not return calls or a text. They were very unprofessional so I would not use them. I have only written positive posts but see that mine was not an isolated incident. I then I found Barry - Roger at 352-552-1646

I used them two times and nothing was destroyed and no walls were scraped. I would ask for Patrick to come out as he was on both jobs. This guy is awsome and very courteous and respectful. Tell him the guy with the Streetrod golf cart recomended him.

I used them twice. They moved all my VERY EXPENSIVE furniture into the garage while I remodeled my house. They came back and moved everything back in. They never put a mark on the wall or a scratch on the furniture. I used a big kid named Patrick both times. He was a very nice kid, polite and very respectful. There is no question in my mind who I would hire the next time.---Patrick:icon_wink:

I moved to TV this May. After much research, I choose Suddath's which is part of United Van Lines. Much to my surprise, it turned out Suddath's main office is located here in TV. They offered a very competitive price and stuck to it. No surprises when they arrived with my furniture from NYC. The crew that picked up my furniture in NY and the crew the unloaded same here in TV were fantastic. After reading so many horror stories here on TOTV and online, I am very pleased to say my moving experience went smoothly.

This is an ILLEGAL COMPANY!!! They ARE NOT LICENSED!!! They conveniently "LOSE" items! If you do not believe me, check them out yourself!!! They have a place at the local flea market (Market of Marion) where they SELL YOUR LOST and confiscated items!!!
I am a very disgruntled customer and you can find all this out by yourself!

I had a very good experience with Little John's Movers, particularly with their mover Matt. They showed up on time and moved all our appliances and living/dining/breakfast room furniture into the garage & back so that we could get new flooring put in. Matt spent quite a while crawling around on the floor reattaching the vent pipe inside our dryer; it has a tendency to come loose and is hard to put back in, but he worked on it until he had it on tightly. Also, he pointed out that the C clamp on our dishwasher drainage hose was missing, but from lying on the floor to put the drain hose back on, he had looked through a crack at the bottom of the dishwasher space and seen something metallic in an inaccessible blank space between the sink and dishwasher. He then spent twenty minutes (no charge) to fish the clamp back out from the blank space with a coathanger and put it on. Most people would never have even noticed the problem, let alone mentioned it. He and the other guy were very nice and were careful with our furniture. Total charge was $250 to take it all out, and $250 to put it all back in, including carefully reattaching all the appliances. I would definitely use them again.

I used Suddath also. I thought the price was very fair. They unloaded my stuff and without asking , the driver put my king and full beds together. I would use them again.

Most of my furniture was delivered scratched, or with pieces missing, or not delivered at all by Little Johns Movers. The company admitted a theft had taken place, but refused to compensate me for the loss. Consequently many items that had much more than a monetary value to me are gone forever, not to mention that I have also lost thousands of dollars in merchandise as well. Anyone wishing to move should check with the BBB to be sure that the moving company is bonded and insured.
