New to TV. I have a humidastat in the house. If I am away for more than a month in the winter, what temperature should I leave the thermostate at and is there enough humidity that I should set the humidastate? Thanks for any info! :cold:

Call your installing co. I'm a snow bird gone from May - Oct. & Munn's installed mine. They said to set it @ 85 & 60. We have a 1480 sq. ft. cottage & my highest elect bill while I was gone was $27.02.

There should have been instructions left by the installer. But it is 60% on the humidistat and 78 on the a/c. Make sure it is set on cool and not on fan. As soon as you set the humidistat your screen will go blank, which is OK. Your home may be very warm, but the humidity is in check. Also, as an extra, I hang Damp Rid in my closets, purchased at Walmart, and you would be surprised how much water is collected in the bags.
