Is anyone having the same problem as me? I have a C6 and when I go in/out of the driveway, I scape the spoiler under the front end.

An apron/approach - be it for a driveway, parking lot entrance, etc. - which has any kind of grade to it can usually be taken at an angle to help reduce the potential for scraping the front air dam. That way one wheel will hit the apron sooner than the other one which will start raising the front of the car quicker.

Yes we have the same problem with our C6. We just go easy.

I have a coupe C6 grande sport and it will scrape on a ripple on the road. I was told it is a throw away part and is easily replaced by removing a few screws and replacing. You really never see that part of the air dam. Mine is rough to the touch but other wise does what is suppose to do and protect the glass.
Hope this helps.
I am buying in Fernandina 205 and looking forward to driving my C6 in the winter.
Have fun and keep driving,

C6 front air dams come in 3 pieces, each replaceable independently. Available directly from GM or from pretty much all of the Corvette aftermarket companies.

Yep, easy as pie to replace any of the pieces.....though it does help to have the car up in the air for more comfortable access.

I miss my Silverado 4 wheel drive. No problem with scraping.

Suggest enter and exit driveway at an angle, not straight on.

The air dam will not be damaged if you take it slow. It actually will bend a bit. Take a look under the front of your car and you will see.

Glad you actually drive yours!.? So MANY garage queens here in TV. My C-5....friends house I watch has a C-6.....both scrape.... Angle is the best. They'll REALLY scrape if you back in straight. I just turn the radio up & don't hear it.
