View Full Version : Dr. Katherine Francis?
Someone recommended Dr. Francis who is a part of the Family Physicians group as a general practitioner. Does anyone know her?

She took the spot vacated when another Doc left that practice,
I like her; she is straightforward and easy to talk to,

I met with her yesterday. She appears to be thorough and truly interested in listening to her patient. I was very sorry to learn that Dr. Scott Kapulsky had moved to another part of Florida. Dr. Francis, if she remains, should be a great addition to that medical office. She is the 3rd doctor I've met with in that office in little over a year. The other two vanished.

My husband showed Dr. Judith Francis chilout more than once a growth on his arm that kept getting larger (for 1 1/2 years). Because it was in the spot where he received his flu shot she brushed it off and said that it must have been dirt on his arm that the needle pushed down into his skin. (but they take an alcohol wipe and clean the skin off first before they give you the shot) We changed primary doctors.
Our new doctor - Dr. Sara Gitte-Acosta :BigApplause:, took one look at it and made an appointment with a dermatologist - Dr. David Casper :BigApplause: (dermatologist - Dr. Michael Bond had looked at it 2 years ago and said it was nothing chilout) After the biopsy came back it was Stage 3 Malignant Melanoma. He went to Moffitt Cancer Center to have surgery. They had to make a 6" incision on his arm to get it all out, and a clump of 5 lymph nodes out. Luckily they think they got all the cancer. They give him a 70% chance of living another 5 years.
I wouldn't recommend those 2 doctors to anyone. I would recommend Dr. Sara Gitte-Acosta (she's on maternity leave until June, but you can she her associates). She located on Laurel Manor.
