EZ GO 2 Clinder Gas

I am considering buying a used EZ GO with 2 cylinder gas motor. Why did EZ GO drop this motor, and is it a good motor?

The one cylinder Kawasaki is a far superior engine than the previous two cylinder Robins engine. This is the same brand of both Club Car and EZ-GO and they are the leaders in the business except for the Yamaha marketing area in the Villages area.
