Looks like 2 near the sarasota driving range, 1done at evans prarie with 1 to follow, and either 2 or 3 at the next championship area. This all spread over 2 to 3 years.

Can't be soon enough - tee times are already hard to come by when checking the open tee time system unless you want to play really late in the day.

I was told by a Villages salesperson that there would ultimately (whatever that means) be six execs south of 466a

Here's the problem when I do the math. Right now we have 29 executive courses. With the expansion south of 466a we are growing from about 88,000 residents to about 115,000 residents which is an increase of 33%. That means we should be adding 9 to 10 executive courses. But just when I start to worry about silly stuff like this, I figure the Morse's know how to do this a lot better than I do, so I'm just going to let them handle it. I'm sure they are very grateful for my lack of interference.

Yes but all the new residents are still paying their $145.
for free golf which is less available since there are more residents.
But the new country clubs are open so we can pay more money for golf.
Easy to figure out we are getting the short end of the stick.

So, how much of the $145 is going to executive golf? Have you been denied a tee time? How many times??

:gc: How can you find out how the amenity fee is spent? The Developer purchased 300plus acres just east of Brownwood. I am not aware of a recent second purchase.

The plan is for:
One to exec open @ Evans in Dec.
Two two are planed to opene in the fall on 2013 @ Evans
The other nine at the Champinship Course @ Evans will open in the fall of 2013
The "plans" are to start building the three execs at Bonafey in the fall of 2013 and Starting the new Chanpinship Course in the fall of 2013. These builds will depend on the " new home sales."

Interesting.
Group - how many 4, 16, 24?
How many courses in the request?
What was the size of the time window in the request?
Everyone playing two or more times per week? Results in high points.

I just was denied too...8 courses, 2 people (1 guest), 0 points, 2 hr time frame...Things are definitely tight for any morning t times.

Rp....anytime you include a guest, your request is evaluated AFTER all resident-only requests, regardless of how many points you or they have.

Guests in a request are rarely satisfied in prime months unless you ask for very early or very late.

That's just how the system works.

:agree: Almost impossible to get a guest on an executive course. Some put a resident in and later sub a guest to beat the system so to speak. However, I have no idea how many times you can do that switch before you are sanctioned. An alternative is to play 9 holes after 1:30 on a Chanpionship Course. That is what I personally do in the winter when I have a guest. :gc:

I think you are onto something. You add to that guests, renters, and we really need 15 additional executive course for a total of 44 executive courses

Two ways are available..One is to wait a day or two before and check for open t times and then just plug yourself in..The other is 9 hole championship after 1 pm...Played Palmer yesterday and Oakleigh today.

I got three guests on three different days in february and march this year thru the electronic tee time system. They were early tee times, which I prefer anyway.

This winter may be challenging to get exec tee times. We are in Hemingway and prefer the courses south of 466. With a few thousand new residents, and many more golfers, south of 466A, and no new exec courses the demand for those courses will likely be very high.
