I remember a story of how twenty people in a factory played the lottery every week.

One person felt it was a waste of money going forward and hid in the bathroom that day.

He wasn't in the lottery that week and they hit the lotterty for a million dollars. Not enough to retire but a good chunck of cash for their kids education.

The person who hid in the restroom never asked for his share and he didn't get it. Tough cookies.
