Lost our Comcast Internet access around 7:15. Anyone else without Comcast Internet service. BTW- Comcast Phone & TV are working fine.

Hi,

Try rebooting the modem and if you have one, the router.

DHCP renew is not getting an IP Address on WAN

Well my friend, enjoy subscribing to Comcast! It doesn't get much better with that company....ask your friends and neighbors who have or did have them.

I'm back ONLINE :) Must have been a local issue.

We had Comcast for over a year with few problems. We switched to Centurylink/Prism recently. We have had several problems with loss of internet connectivity and with freezing of the video feeds. We are probably going back to Comcast after our 1 year contract expires.

Had comcast for 16 years now, little problems from time to time but they always compensated me for the time out so I really can complain. Every company has problems and if said you didn't your are wrong. :smiley:

My Comcast internet went out for most of the evening a couple of weeks ago. Tried rebooting and calling tech support. No help. Finally came back on by itself.

I have had Comcast internet service for 5 years. I had one day that my internet was out for 1 hour. I'm pretty pleased with that after what I hear with all of my friend's service from other companies.

Stay with CenturyLink....we had some freezing etc. here a week or so ago. They told us that it was due to adding so many new folks and that they were working on it. They said that by that next Monday things would be back to normal and they were right. Haven't had Comcast...but know quite a few who have and have heard nothing but negatives. Poor customer service being one.

using a hot spot comcast not high on my list
