Just a reminder for all you Canucks ............
I hope your wings are rested from the long migration south.
The Canadian Loonies and Toonies will have their first meeting of 2012 on Wednesday, November 14th at La Hacienda Recreation Center (Carmen Miranda Room). The registration desk will be open at 5:30 pm as we will be taking membership registrations for the 2012- 2013 season, and collecting our annual dues of $5 per membership. Last year we had a membership of close to 500 people, outstanding for a new club!
Our scheduled speakers for November 14 are from The Villages Regional Hospital .... Courtney Badman, Systems Director, and Harvey Rothrock, Administration Manager. They will be discussing an overview of the Villages Hospital, and the procedures to follow if Canadian Snowbirds carrying traveller's health insurance need emergency treatment at the hospital. They will also be reviewing the policy that they have in place for servicing non-American part-time patients.
We are delighted to also have back with us our favourite entertainer - Mike Palma, known as "Just Mike", for our listening and dancing pleasure.
