Hello all,
I am a Masters Level Social Worker with most of my 32 years in Medical Social Worker with Seniors.
We plan to move to The Villages before retirement, so I want to be working in my field part time. Currently, I'm a part time medical social worker for a home health agency, but I've also worked in nursing homes and a hospital.
Can you tell me the best place or places to be searching for jobs?
I've tried several links including local newspapers and The Villages Jobs link page, but am not finding many social work jobs.
Thanks so much,
Bobbi

I wonder if you would be better served by personally contacting the many assisted living and memory care facilities in and around The Villages.

Hi Bobbi--I'm a dietitian w/30 yrs in the medical field and am working in a hospital in OH-to young to retire and am actively seeking employement in and around the Villages. We just broke ground 10/24 and will close 1/8. I posted my resume on Careerboard and went from there--also scroll through the local hospital websites-Ocala/Taveres/Waterman and then the many assisted living facilties. Once you post your resume and link the field you're interested in--your "in box" will fill up. Good luck job hunting.

Thanks Twinspin60,
Great ideas! I didn't know about that site.
I grew up in Indiana and have been in Ohio many times!
