Dear Readers, I posted a request yesterday, asking for the gift of knitting/crochet yarn. The church I attend, and others, are making lap blankets to be distributed locally to nursing homes and/or the homeless shelters. Although I purchased yarn using discount coupons, the need far outweighs my little contribution. Therefore I posted a request on this site asking for any yarn which is gathering dust in craft cupboards or boxes. JBlumb315 quickly responded, and was so generous to give me a large bag filled with lovely yarn. There is sufficient to make blankets for guys, gals and children. www.talkofthevillages has come through yet again showing how generous our residents are. :bowdown::bigbow: Thank you, thank you. Isn't jblum wonderful and so very, very generous? We're lucky to have people like her on TOTV and living in The Villages. So, thank you, my friend, for being so giving.
