I bowl at SS Lanes on Friday and have had McCalls fish fry many times.

Friday nights at Orange Blossom Country Club. We have tried fish all over TV and OB's is the best in my opinion. All you can eat mild white fish prepared fried, broiled and blackened with two sides. $10.50 It is delicious.

I agree the lighthouse has good fish, but I vote for the bonefish grill on cr 466. Might be best o call and make a reservation. Wills fiish and chips best value at $10.90 with ample portion. each time I have been got three larege oieces of fish (fried). Be sure to order bang bang shrimp appetizer for I think $7.90. (Several people can enjoy this one appetizer) and they are really known for their bang bang shrimp. Lighthouse also had the bang bang but I'll have to say bone fishes knows just how to prepare it, and on Wednesdays I think the bang bang is only $5

Had the fish special at the Lighthouse last week and it's really good! Had the Orange Blossum meal a few months back...it's probably an individual thing but we didn't care for it.

The butterfish at The Lighthouse is absolutely great. I do not like the indoors at The Lighthouse but sitting on their deck is very nice.

We had one of the biggest and best fish sandwiches ever at the Havana Country Club. We are from Maine and we certainly know seafood and this was excellent. The service was a bit slow but we were in no hurry as we were visiting and looking at where we would like to live (we did eventually purchase a new home in TV), but they noticed it and discounted our meal. A beautiful atmosphere and a lovely meal, and we met some great people at the next table. They were all residents of TV and probably influenced our decision to move to TV. We will be back to Havana CC.

New Fried Fish at Golden Corral in Leesburg:
Actually, one of the best places for fried fish is at the Leesburg Golden Corral. Of course, it is all you can eat, with fries, hush puppies, vinegar, tartar sauce and plenty of sides. They are using a NEW supply of fish there. It is the mild white fish and is lightly breaded and then fried. I was actually very surprised at the quality of the fish there, as in the past, it was just average. I have not tried the fish at The Villages Golden Corral, so I do not know if their fish is the same or just as good.

Ok now pull up a chair and take a deep breath. People say you are what you eat nd that roughly translates to what your food looks like on the plate I guess.
If you enjoy sloppy joes then maybe you look a little like what's in front of you.
I hope you get the idea...
Now be a little creative with sea food and visualize. I enjoy the Golden Corral.
They offer fried shrimp, scallops, fillet of fried or steamed fish, fried clam strips
with hot fries or any other side you prefer. Now here is where the creativity comes in. Don't try to overdo it and go hog wild. Prepare your dish in a balanced way. Take maybe 6 or so scrimp and a small spoon full of either clam strips or scallops, backed by a nice portion of steamy fries. I know the plates are a little small but if you keep to the plan you can satisfy your briny appetite.
Set your plate as you woul expect to see it served to you in a more upscale eatery. Hey, it's a fun way to have it your way, gee I think I heard that before.
Heck, if you want bring a small white table cloth and you won't even notice the Corral pros walking passed you with plates that look like Mt St Hellen.
Have fun........

You are right, of course, but man oh man do I have a hard time restraining myself at a buffet! I don't know what psychological problem I have, but I just feel I must get my moneys worth and eat until I am about to explode. Then I leave the place uncomfortable and swearing never to eat there again.

Bingo, right on. That holds true with any all you can eat joint. The upscale places that offer all you can eat with no buffet have it figured out. They serve you a nice plate which you devour quickly, then you have to wait to be asked if you want more. That second serving takes longer than expected and you feel as if your not being fair to everyone else who might not want more. So, who wins here? I would rather serve myself and be satisfied with my choices.
