This seems like a very good option to avoid carrying credit cards. And safer as you need to unlock phone then enter a pin before using the card.

I personally haven't used it but it sounds like the wave of the future.
It looks like it's more secure.

I've never heard of Google Wallet, can you tell us about it? Does it work in conjunction with a cell phone?

It seems there would be a small number of merchants where you would be able to use it.

I actually think it works in most stores that have a credit card reader. I have seen someone use it at Sweetbay, the Harley store and TGI Fridays.

Looks like the store has to have a specific type of card reader:
