I don't suppose anyone needing replacement golf cart batteries could have a good experience but I have something that might interest you. I checked very many local battery suppliers and found the most reasonable by far to be THE BATTERY BROTHERS. Two men came to my home today to replace the batteries in my golf cart and what I met was two really nice gentlemen who took their job seriously and did those little extra things that most suppliers ignore. For less than what batteries cost at Sams, I got the best price, installed, disposal of old batteries, one day service and a very important 2 YEAR CONTRACT. The Battery Brothers can be reached at 352-205-9859..... If you have any questions, feel free to call Warren at 352-753-0831.

The Batteries are DEKA and my checking indicates they are a very good battery. I have used Trojan until this time and haven't been very satisfied.

As I stated elsewhere the brand was Deka. I bought six 8 volt and the total cost including everything was $625.75 and this included everything. Sams wants $98 and this does not include the disposal fee, or taxes and you must take your old batteries to Sams, pick up your new batteries and install them yourself. Warren

This previous post is wrong. The run time for a 12 volt is 77 minutes. The run time for a 6 volt Deka or Trojan for that matter is 105 minutes up to 120 minutes if you buy an upgrded 6 volt battery. Trojan use to be a great battery but Club car and E-Z Go quit using them cause quality went down. DEKA lasts longer and the Battery Brothers back it up with a two year warranty! Trust me it would be easier te sell a Trojan, just wouldn't warranty it
I suggest everyone have a look at a new posting by Battery Boys. I cannot believe the false claims that were posted in this posting.

It appears that the entire Battery boys and the following quotes has been removed by ToTV.
I'm researching batteries because our STAR cart is 4 years old. So far so good. I was going to go to the Battery Boys first. What gives?

Do you have a eight 6 volt battery config? LSV? How is the range of what you have. Am considering the Star golf cart...
thanks,

I converted from 4 12 volt to 6 8 volt Crown 190 batteries and have driven all over the Villages without having any discharge problems. Great batteries!

thanks,
Our STAR cart is not LSV. We have the eight 6volt batteries. I've not tested the range. I have gone 40 miles and the indicator has just gone down one notch. It is still peppy.

My Club Car has 6, 8 volt batteries from the Battery Boys. They are knowledgable and dependable. My Club Car routinely goes from Brownwood to Spanish Springs back to Bonefish on 446 then back to Brownwood without any problems. I plug it in at night and it is ready to do it all over again the next day. The battery run time last a lot longer than by butt sitting in the seat. Total battery range is about 50+ miles and TV is about 12 miles end to end. You can do your own math to figure how many passes through TV you want to make.
