There will be a few open. Watch the newspaper. Some will have special hours and probably a few brunches and buffets. And of course the Asian/Chinese/Japanese are always open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

TooJays is going to be open until 8pm and I believe TGIF will be open too - but I haven't called to confirm. I am not sure what you are looking for - but IHOP is usually open and Starbucks too.

It hurts my heart to find people looking for a place to eat on Christmas day.
Not a bad idea, Tainsley.

This will be the first year adult children will be going to the
in-laws for Christmas. Next year it is our turn. Guess
we will have to learn to share.
So far, the following restaurants will be open in LSL:

Merry Christmas to All!!!!
Just go to The Villages Gourmet Club website (http://thevillagesgourmetclub.com/page1.html) and type the word "Christmas" in the search box at the bottom. Click on "Find All" button first, then "Show Next" button. It'll stop at all the restaurants that have something to say about Christmas. You can go to page 2 (http://thevillagesgourmetclub.com/page2.html) also and do the same thing for surrounding establishments. It's the most comprehensive information about holiday meals, all in one place. "One stop spotting"!

We'd personally prefer that all the workers could share the major holidays with their families, loved ones and friends. Our hats are off the the establishments that close on the holidays to allow family traditions to carry on.
As in the past, we will be enjoying the holiday, day and dinner, with a few neighbors. It is a nice tradition to begin if your family is not close by; try it.

Most establishments that are open for Christmas will usually ask those employees
of different faiths to work so as to give those who do celebrate the day off.
I believe it would be arrogant and incorrect to assume that TV is comprised of only Christians.
Merry Christmas to all!

The traditional Christmas Day dinner for my family has always been going out for Chinese food. Of course we are also Jewish.
