As I recall from my last visit it is a bit of a drive from the new construction areas south of 466A to the MVP fitness center in Spanish Springs. Is there any talk of MVP or someone else building something in Brownwood?

I have been trying to figure out the same thing but no one is talking. I hope we get a gym closer to 466A

My neighbors go to a fitness center (24/7?) located on the east side of 301, between 462 and 466. Obviously, the center is not golf cart accessible but it is an easy drive.

From Buena Vista and 466a head west on 466a to Powell Rd (CR462)

Turn north on Powell; stay on Powell as it bends left and intersects with 301

Turn north on 301; the center will be on your right about a mile or so.

another gym is a must have for the new areas south of 466A; my suggestion is that one be built adjacent to brownwood in the power center that is planned for the huge cleared property pon the other side of powell road. it would be golf cart accessible. we had several LA fitness where we used to live and they were fantastic!

The fitness center at Colony works fine for me. Seabreeze also has one. Of course, they don't have all the "bells and whistles" of a complete gym like I had in my hometown before retirement but they work just fine and I can get there in five minutes in my golf cart!

If you are on medicare hmo you can go to one of the anytime fitness centers near the villages. FREE. They are open 24/7 and have all new equipment and a first class facility. Compare that to MVP or the rec centers! I'm saving $64 a month! I go to the one just past the American Legion on 466 in Lady Lake. They have another in Bailey Plaza and one on 301 just south of 466 on the left.
Your only cost is $29 to pay for a key fob to let you in to the building at your convenience. :coolsmiley:
