Played golf with neighbors that told us that they witnessed two golf carts, obviously rentals with teenagers driving each and both carts had little children in them with the teenage drivers,(No adults) and they were drag racing on the cart path along Buena Vista south of 466A leading to Brownwood. One cart was on the path and the other was on the unlevel surface next to the path.
Oh please folks, please be distrustful of those wonderful kids you love, and don't give them the keys.
Dangerous for them, their precious cargo and for us.

How true. I saw several youngsters driving golf carts in an unsafe manner and used extreme caution when in the car. One child was so small that he had to sit on the edge of the seat in order to reach the pedal. With another holiday coming up I will be even more on the alert.

We passed a cart being driven by a teenager with another teenager in front, while two youngsters (7-8?) were strapped on the back where the golf clubs should go. The cart turned off St. Charles into Pennecamp. Blessedly, all other drivers on the road and path, stayed waaaaay back.

Rentals only go 15 mph, so it must have been a very boring drag race :undecided:

Those kids usually are not driving rentals, grandparents hand over the keys to their golf cart. We also observed several young kids driving carts, way to young to be 14 years of sage. Can't understand why grandparents allow that. We all know the phrase "my kids promised to go slow"....not going to happen !

We were driving down St. Charles getting ready to exit the gate onto Buena Vista and there were 2 girls on skateboards skating under the exit gate. They would go under then run back up and do it again.
