I've searched TOTV with no success to learn what the icons to the left of the posts mean. In the first column, what does the open yellow envelope stand for? The closed pink envelope? In the second column, what does the little note looking thing stand for? The smilie face?

Scroll down to Display Options at the left of this movie thread. It should explain some of this. People put emoticons with some posts to show how they feel about what they are posting. The little note looking thing just describes what kind of thread it is-- poll or not--as well as what the thread starter wanted to communicate like thumbs up or down.

I was looking for those the other day and thought I looked everywhere. I knew mostly what they were, but had some questions. I have seen the explainations before, but that is an extremely unintuitive place to find them. Thanks Tal!
