Will be closing on a new Lilac in Fernadina in January. Someone I work with suggested I have it cleaned before moving in. He thought there could be dirt and dust left over from construction. Is that necessary?

Absolutely not. TV has a cleaning crew go out and clean the house top to bottom before the closing. They want it to look perfect for the walk through. It will never be so clean again :)

I thought that would be the case, knowing how the Villages does everything so efficiently.

This is our 3rd brand new construction. Previous homes needed some TLC before moving day. Here in TV, the home was totally spotless. Even now, when I spill something and paper towel it, I am amazed at how clean the floor is. TV apparently has a very good post build cleaning team.

If you are not pleased with the cleaning, they will send a team out to "fix" the problem. Our home was spotless.
