We just closed on our house on Friday. Yea! For the next 4-6 months, we will be living in The Villages during the weekends and working during the week while we transition to retirement. After comparing gas vs electric golf carts, we have decided that electric meets our needs best.

Will the batteries on the golf cart be OK if they are used only on the weekends? What if we don't use the golf cart for several weeks at a time, will the batteries be OK? Any information in this area is most appreciated.

I would recommend going to ASK THE EXPERT in the golf cart area.

Get yourself a battery minder. I think Battery Boys carries them. I am sure others in the area do also. It will keep your pack charged safely while cart is idle. They cost somewhere around $180 - $200 for the unit if I recall.
