Little things make me happy and when I saw my package delivered by UPS in a golf cart, it made me laugh and of course I shared it on my Facebook page with all my non-villager friends !!! Once the holidays are over, I hope to get out and meet some fun people !! we have been here since NOV 16th in Bonnybrook and I am loving it!!!

Jaggy the good news is that after you get into the lifestyle it will only get better. That's been my experience. When I see the UPS guy in his cart I smile too. Welcome!!!

Off the subject a little but I spent a lot of time in India in my younger years and in Mumbai I would see the UPS man delivering packages on a motorcycle painted UPS brown with the UPS logo on it. They also had motorized rickshaws painted brown with the logo. UPS seems adept at customizing delivery based on conditions

Rickshaw is a transportation device of people from one place to another not by horsepower but by human power and in certain countries pulled by bicycles. Should be a great transportation device here in The Villages pulled not by us but perhaps by high school or college students as part time jobs during vacation. I think I saw a few in resort towns as a mode for sightseeing. I thought about getting tuk tuk like the very colorful ones I saw in the Philippines and Pakistan but of course my other half would not approve. They are operated by a small engine.
