The hunt is a great idea to eliminate this invasive, and dangerous snake. Being 100+ lbs. there's got to be lots of meat on those critters.

I understand all participants (the humans, that is) must sign a liability waiver. Chances are lots and lots of the contestants will the the young guys tromping in the Everglades and propelled by bottles of Jack Daniels.

Not too sure if the contest is a good idea but, even though I do like snakes, the pythons should be eradicated from Florida.
