Thanks to TOTV, we didn't feel lost as we made the big jump. I feel like I know some of you. It is our go to site for everything. I will mention it to contractors that we are interviewing to let them know we will post a good or bad experience. I do appreciate that the political section was removed. I go to new posts, and really was sickened by some of the posts.so thank you.

I am pleased that this string was started. It is appropriate and a great reminder to me of how much I have received by being a part of this. For some time I explored this site, then finally registered. I was reluctant (I never do blogs) to write or ask questions on-line like this but finally did and was pleasantly surprised by the responses. With major changes in our lives being contemplated, so many questions and concerns arose. Retirement was difficult enough to deal with but actually moving from Maine to Florida added a whole new element.

This forum provided us with so much information, connections to some wonderful people, and a comfort level that made our decision to relocate to TV easier. We even arranged to have Tim the Tool Man put in out garage attic stairs because he has such a good reputation on the TOTV. He was as good to deal with as everyone said.

We purchased a new home in Mission Hills on November 2 and the movers will be here on December 18th to move us to our new HOME.

The bottom line here is that this site was not only informative but also introduced us to some very nice people and made our choices easier. And I expect that I will continue to use this site as we settle in and begin this new chapter in our lives.

I guess I will have to change my name on the site because it won't be accurate.

My thanks to those who produce this as well as those who contribute, to the benefit of people like me.

Excellent thread !

As someone who is looking into TV I have gained a lot of knowledge from these boards. I think I have gotten to "know" some people without yet meeting them but hoping I will soon.

I don't always agree with "you" and you don't always agree with me - so be it.
But having the opportunity to come on here and discuss points of view and gather information is priceless.

Thank you Admins and Mods and to all on TOTV - Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night !

Most people have no idea just how difficult a job the admins and moderators have in dealing with the technical and member problems that arise. Kudos and a sincere thank you to Ken and all his Moderators!

This is a great forum. I love it because it is the reason that I decided to move here. I could see by reading it that it was full of information and full of people with all kinds of attitudes.

It is a little bit nice and a little bit naughty but SOOOOOOOO full of opinions.
Just like the grown up people who live here.

I am pleased that the folks who bought it from it's originators although YOUNG ;) are also wise and are apparently making it a not only a wonderful place for us to exchange information but also a very good venue for the people who need to advertise. I can see so many MORE advertisers on here and everyone knows what I think about successful business ventures.

Good for the owners.

GREAT for us.

A sincere Merry Christmas to Kenneth, his family and his business associates.

Many many thanks to the owners and administrators of TOTV. I've been here 3 1/2 years , and I find TOTV just as useful and relevant as on Day One. Couldn't manage without it.

I throw in my thanks to the TOTV owners and operators. This is certainly my best experience on the Internet since I started using it. You keep the personal attacks on other posters to a minimum and give valuable and timely information about the Villages.

Add me to the long list of people thanking you for a great job. It's my "go to site" before my day begins, wakes me up and gets the "old grey matter" working. Oh, and I should add, I have used several of the very good people recommended on this site!

Love the site and always find some sort of entertaining posts or knowledge gained about the different venues available to us Villager's. Great group of poster's who help add to our enjoyment. Now if we could just get Gracie Girl to loosen up and post once in awhile :D

Thank you Kenneth and all the Moderators for stepping in when a post starts to go off topic and gets too personal.

I like to "agree to disagree respectfully" on all posts. I find this site addictice and entertaining. It helps me tremendously to feel like I am in TV without being there.
