We have been here over 7 years and in that time we have had about 3-4 AC/heating contractors come and service our heating and ac unit. However, I never feel comfortable with these guys. I got ripped off by one company who overcharged me for an ultaviolet unit that was supposed to get rid of mildew. I just don't trust these people. I have a friend here who recommends Munz, not because of any personal experience but because they have been here a long time and he hasn't heard anything bad about them.

My question is are there any reputable companies out there that would regularly service my unit? I would like to feel comfortable with these people as I think it's important here to have someone capable inspect these units periodically.

They fixed our A/C unit. Charges were reasonable, service was top notch.

Chuck Farrell is the man...

Have had him here to service our a/c & heating system and he's terrific. He doesn't believe in contracts....he sez re contracts...."Naw...keep your money. I'll charge you a fair price each time you need service. I don't believe in contracts; you pay only when I work for you, and it's as simple as that."

We are very pleased with Chuck.... He's reliable, ethical, and knows his business.

Personally had great expeience with Sumter Air and Heat, local guys and service spot on.
Very honest, or so it seemed, as he walked me thru a call over the phone without charging, which at that point I would have been happy to pay! No heat on what was actually a cold night! Hetalked me thru exactly what to do and it worked. A year later we got 3 estimates for a new unit and he was the best priced and didn't try to sell me stuff I didn't need. Hope this helps ya!
